Seems to happen sporadically when I try to launch a sample VDJ freezes. Happened to me twice during my VDJ radio broadcast and 3 time when I was just goofing off practicing.
Is there a bug? or is it just me?
Sample is my DJ Drop that I keep in the sample banks. I use a keyboard shortcut to launch it. Never had a problem with VDJ 7 and VDJ 7.05

i haven't had any problems with the sampler in 7.1
i try to remember to make a restore point before i make any changes to the computer
try going back one restore point (your system should have a few , i think it keeps 10)

do you have GameBooster? it's a one click way to turn off a lot of unnecessary background stuff
you may have something newly installed ? (or not) and it's interfering .......
try launching windows in safe mode then launch VDJ .....
if you don't have GB you can turn unnecessary processes off manually
Ctrl/Shift/ESC opens task mgr.....processes tab.....any items that you don't know what they
are make sure you google them and find out whether to "end process" or not....but that's what
GB does .....

I'm on a Macbook Pro, not PC. Still on Snow Leopard though. Forgot to note that down sorry.
And all I have on this laptop is the software it came with VDJ, an Ice cast client, and Adobe Elements/Photoshop. That is it. I use it for DJing only. I actually never had a problem with VDJ freezing since VDJ 6.0 (well back then I was using CUE). So I was really surprised when it froze on me yesterday while doing my broadcast. And since I just upgraded the night before, everything kinda points to VDJ 7.1 right now.....

I barley updated my system to 7.1 and was disappointed. At a gig this Friday night I had to restart virtual DJ twice in the Liste of the dance. When I try to open an image for a slide show or choose a file for sonic or open the config window or try to.choose a sample from my files virtual DJ just freezes the rest of my computer works fine just vdj. I don't have any gamebooster or anything like that. Please get back to me I have to.go back 7.0.
