Well iTunes is the best known place.
There are also lots of other places to legally purchase your music.

as far as i am aware all of the DRM music (legal, purchased music w/ Digital Rights Management)
is not recordable in VDJ ....
it's kinda bass ackwards ......if you buy it , you have no rights or privileges .....
if you steal it , do whatever you want .......

Who mentioned DRM?!
Most online download services now sell non protected MP3s - including iTunes - because so many people kicked up a stink over DRM.
The only DRM protected tracks that I'm aware of these days are the ones from subscription (rental) services, which expire when you stop paying your fee - like Netsearch in VDJ.

i mentioned DRM .....
and he's not a premium member.....
so i'm guessing it's other drm ....maybe bearshare pro is drm i don't know
i doubt if the record feature can screen out illegal content......
at any rate it's not our job to split such hairs .....
you implied the track in question was illegal without proof ......
running off nlu's will not turn them into buyers ......

No, I said there are plenty of legal download sites. Nothing wrong with that statement.
I've just read up on Bearshare and apparently these days it's a subscription service which uses DRM (which explains why it won't record).

honestly its a catch 22. I have respect for the artist but keep in mind how much the DJ promotes their songs. It would be nice to record our mix sets and i really wouldn't mind if it only played in VDJ
