Haha! I like what you've done with the numbers on the Dan Hartman track - I was thinking along those lines myself.
In the end I went for the same 10-1 countdown as you (deep voice man) followed by Noddy Holder shouting "Happy New Year!" and a military march version of Auld Lang Syne. I'm going with Insomnia (from the big riff) after that.
