Thanks Daz, I do my own cables as well, that's what got me to the link. We bought some used equipment that was in excellent shape that also had most of the cables and speaker connections, some of which were not in the best of shape, I found speaker wire that had bare wire exposed, connectors held together with electrical tape, (some of it was a real mess) as I looked at purchasing new connectors and wiring it seemed more economically feasible to buy a cable checker and just replace the connectors, get rid of bad wire and go from there. So just to make sure I was wiring everything properly I started researching so I didn't screw anything up. As I come across other useful info I'll post.

Wow that table with all the pinouts and diagrams is like gold! These should keep me busy making a few new cables to throw in the bag to have "just incase."
Think one tip that anyone who has unbalanced outs (rca's only) should pay attention to was this:
"Transformer isolate all unbalanced connections from balanced connections" ...meaning buy a transformer if you only have rca outs and need to connect to pieces of gear with xlr's. The Rolls MB15 is an excellent piece to have in your arsenal.
Thanks for the link! :)

You're welcome, DJ static, I think I'm going to have to jump on that Rolls xfmr, just to have it, I'll be busy making up extra cables as well, I bought the Behringer CT-100 cable tester which is also not bad to have in your arsenal, figuring out the indicators is a bit tricky though.
