A lot of people think he learnt to DJ purely to impress Nicki Minaj, anyone whose been into house for 10 years or more will know he's been around for quite some time.

As you can see, there is a lot of support for anyone willing to put forth the effort. Although I recommend a controller, you can start of with a mouse and keyboard. There are a few mobile DJ's that use only that. A controller just makes it easier, in my opinion.
Practice when you can, great enjoyment can be ha DJ'n.

DJ Skorpion King and yes I will be a VERY young acting 49 this November .... started in 1983 and still spinning ..... have it in my will to be buried with my controller laptop mic and drive. and the top of the coffin detailed to look like my rig ....
