Has anyone mapped the center section on the Denon HC5000 ie: the prepare - history - shift buttons etc.. If so please let me know how!

Those buttons are already mapped by default.
But of course you can change that to a desired action.

Hi Guys! Dj Dad when I try to remap the buttons it will only work on one side and when I try to map another button for the other side the previous button will not work. I'm just trying to map the effects brake flanger etc.. to one button but having no luck. Any help will be apreciated.

The Center buttons of the unit are not dedicated to any specific deck, so if you wish to assign one of them as brake effect for deck 1 and another one as brake effect for deck 2 , you need to specify the deck.
E.g. CRATES mapped as ... deck 1 effect "brake" active
and ADD as .. deck 2 effect "brake" active.
E.g. CRATES mapped as ... deck 1 effect "brake" active
and ADD as .. deck 2 effect "brake" active.
