Yeah I see that now, looks like the VDJ Wiki isn't updated.
Regarding my "dark" 2900, is it a "midi CH" issue? What should the midi channels be set to on each SC2900?

From what phantomdeejay was saying recently, it shouldn't matter.
Apparently as long as each device has its own USB port, the MIDI channels don't clash.

well *something* isn't right, just trying to guess what is up with the "dark" 2900.
Currently have each 2900 and the 1600 in its own USB port (and I did try moving units to different ports).
I was planning to get a powered USB hub soon though....if/when I do that will the Midi Channel setting matter?

I asked earlier....has the dark one got the same firmware as the er, light one?
Inviato Fri 10 May 13 @ 12:06 pm
Yes, first thing I did was update the firmware on both to current.

I decided I had to make a run home @ lunch break ;)
Mixer/soundcard works after I made the necessary changes.
AND
set the naughty \"dark\" 2900 #2 back to the (default) midi channel 1...presto, no longer \"dark\"! So the midi channel does matter...begs the question how it will/won\'t work using a powered USB hub....
But for now...it seems like I\'ve got my new kit up and running! Awesome.

Yes the MIDI channel does matter. When a unit is set to wrong CH number VDJ won't be able to send any MIDI out commands (and thus turn on leds, update screens, e.t.c.)
Also, I own a pair of DN-S3700 and they work great out of a powered USB hub ;)

Please use ASIO v2.22 with the SC2900/SC3900 decks found here:

Yeah, initial testing with a USB2 Powered Hub have been successful.

I've been using my 3900s through a hub since I got them without issue.

Is there a setting somewhere that turns off/on the LED platter rings on the SC2900's?
Because all of a sudden they don't light up! :(
They do light up properly when switched to CD/USB though.

Perhaps the issue is this last firmware update (v1100)? I'm pretty sure that the LED platter lights quit working in VDJ after I updated. Can anyone here confirm?

Same Problem here. "jogs" are off.
Need some help to figure out ....

meanwhile:
Everything fine. And the mapping of the sc2900 is one of the best imo. LED-Support is great.
Thanks to the Dev-Team.
