Hi,

Is it possible to link the BPMs across 2 or more decks?

Let's say I have deck 1 playing at 135 BPM, and I want to blend in a Drum & Bass tune at around 170 BPM on deck 2.

I can set the 170 BPM track to be the same BPM as deck 1 (135) and start mixing in the samples, but then I want to smoothly bring up the BPM on both decks to 170 BPM, with the BPM's remaining equal on both (so I only have to use one pitch slider).

Is there a simple way to do this on VDJ 7.3? I couldn't see anything obvious.

Click the little lock next to the pitch sliders on the default 2 deck skin.

VDJScript verb is pitchlock - this will affect all decks though.

You could try using a VDJScript variable and switching the single deck pitch_slider out for multiple pitch_relative when set?

Aha! I hadn't notice that. I've been using the the 4 deck skin for the last few months and it has no icon/button to do this via the user interface.

(This also means there is no way of knowing the current pitch slider lock status when using that skin. )

I mapped the command to Caps Lock, whose button has an LED indicate when it's on.

But who would I need to speak to if I wanted to get this icon added to the default 4 deck skin? Or at least an indicator to show it's status?
