Like the title says, need some aid in mapping my wego. Im not sure if this can be done but figured I would give it a shot.
Basically I would like to dedicate the "CTRL A" (FX1) & "CTRL B" (FX5) of each deck to a specific effect that will not be selected in any of the 3 FX banks. I would like to have jog control of the effect on CTRL B (FX5) while in use.
The "CNTRL A" (FX1) is out of the box mapped to a key change function that I will never use. I would like to dedicate that to the beatgrid effect instead, but this does not need any Jog control
The "CNTL B" (FX5) is mapped to a filter out of the box, however I dont like the sound of this one and have found another more to my liking and would like to use that instead.
Im on day 5 of my VDJ Pro Trial and would love to fully upgrade if I can get everything setup the way I want it. Also considering upgrading this 6 year old lappy to start recording again.

Try this in the action box for the buttons you want to map
Effect "beatgrid" active
And
Effect "name of filter you want to use" active
Effect "beatgrid" active
And
Effect "name of filter you want to use" active

Make sure you copy and paste the code thats there first before you replace it, just in case it doesn't work you can go back to the original

Thanks guys, that got the effect to activate. Since I got my effects where I want them now, Is it possible to make the jog leds come on in a different pattern, similar if fx 1-3 were used? I tried my luck at it with several differnt combos, but kept on having to reset and then remap everything that you all helped me with.
The lights are no biggie, it just would be nice to have some eye candy while I'm playing with the filter on cntl B (FX5).

In the grand scheme is it that important? I wouldn't think your audience would care about the flashy lights on the controller. You should be looking at your audience not the flashy lights on the controller :)
Like you I remapped the Fx buttons as well.

Like I mentioned its not a biggie about the lights, audio comes out. It just would be nice to get everything functioning, LED's included (blame the virgo in me).
As far as an audience is concerned I am only using it for at home so there is no audience there. I have long ago stopped playing out at events (UK hardcore dj) and if I were to get back in the loop, I would not be using a controller. Good ole sl1200's and cdj's are always provided for those type of events.

Ahh I hear ya.
For me I don't care about things like the jog lights. The others staying lit when pressed...yea those I do care about it. I use my Wego at clubs that does not have a controller I am comfortable with.
