I purchased the Numark N4 controller over a year ago, it came with VDJ LE, I have been using it ever since on my desktop but I wanted to install VDJ onto my new laptop. I still have the CD to install it, but I lost my serial number :(
no, I did not register the number to my account ( i just made this account to ask for help with this )
no, I did not even register my controller to the manufacturer incase I ever wanted to sell it.
the reason why I didn't register in the first place is because I wanted to be able to use the program on a new computer when I got one, but now im still screwed either way??.....
Is there any possible way I could get the serial number from some hidden files on my computer?

No.
You will have to contact Numark with the serial number of your controller and see if they can find it or issue you with a new one.
