Is it just me , or does anyone feel like VDJ doesn't keep up with their update video marketing for users. Some really nice updates have came, and with the highly anticipated VDJ 8. But I feel VDJ doesn't do us any justice when it comes to breaking down the software via video. I really think if VDJ provided more video marketing this will help us out. I'm currently trying to decide what type of laptop to buy, I really want to know if the multitouch function is really worth buying a touchscreen laptop. I'm sure other users will like to see more video marketing. It could be something very simple with a VDJ rep via youtube. P

I agree, some instructional and promotional videos straight from the "Laboratories @ VirtualDJ" would be nice.
Maybe even some work from "Super Star DJ's" that use VDJ out in the real world.
A great marketing and instructional tool is being neglected, but that is not my decision. The product and community rock so I'm content. :)
With that being said, this community makes up for it. Somebody, somewhere will make a video showing off some great features or fixes or tricks or how well it works with the latest controller. It may not have the polish of post production or a big name DJ reading a script, but it is useful and educational. ( usually :D )

We'll make more videos for sure, and have a rep doing some FAQ video tutorials running currently.
As well as lots of creative skilled users making tutorials too.. ;)

As far as touch screen goes, there will be a demo video soon.. Both from me and from a soon to be tradeshow.
