hi guys having issues with locking the pitch keys im meant to b djing tonight gettin rather frustrated can anyone help please

Locking by controller buttons or keyboard...?
 
i lock em via keylock next to pitch bars
 
when i put a song on 2nd desk the pitch bar involuntary moves
 
Have a look in config/ options if auto pitch matching is disabled
 
So pitch slider is at 0%, you load a track and the pitch slider moves automatically?

If so in VDJ Config go to the Options tab and make sure "Auto Pitch Matching" is set to Disabled (which it is by default IIRC).
 
its starts where level in middle as soon as put track on the 2nd table it jumps up or down ive done all that in config but hash solved problem
 
smart play active..?
 
Try setting 'disengage Beatlock' in options to 'On Load' to make sure you aren't accidentally enabling beatlock.
