Hi All,
I am trying to connect my BCD2000 with the trial version of the VDJ (latest version 7 I think) with my PC Laptop but can't get anything to happen when I use my BCD2000.
I'm not a genius on a PC so if there is a simple way someone can help I would appreciate it.
Anyone have any ideas?
I'm sure everyone says this but I do want to see this running before I get the full version.
Cheers

Unfortunately due to bad design, the BCD2000 is very unreliable and problematic for most users. In particular, the built-in sound card is very problematic.
Some users have had success using it as MIDI controller only (Using another separate sound card for their sound output,.) If it's not being detected as a MIDI controller then this could be due to the fact that you are plugging it into a USB 3.0 port. Many older controllers will not work with USB 3.0 due to backward compatibility issues with most USB 3.0 chipsets. Try plugging it into a USB 2.0 port if your computer has one or using a powered USB 2.0 hub. Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/MIDI%20Controller%20Not%20Working.html
Make sure that you also have the latest VirtualDJ Home FREE installed: http://www.virtualdj.com/products/homefree.html
NOTE: We would strongly recommend replacing the BCD2000 with a better and more reliable and up-to-date controller. A selection can be found on our hardware page: http://www.virtualdj.com/products/hardware.html - Purchasing a controller with VirtualDJ LE included is recommended because you can use it straight out of the box with VirtualDJ LE and can also optionally upgrade to the full VirtualDJ Pro at a discount (The amount of discount depends on the product purchased (More expensive generally gives greater discount.))

Great, thanks for that.
I will get a new one as the BCD is a bit old now.
Although the link the include VDJ is not avaialble. I was looking at a NuMark, so if I buy somewhere else I assume it's not included?
Cheers

Before purchasing you should check the manufacturer's website (E.g: http://www.numark.com for Numark) and also the store where you intend to purchase it to ensure that VirtualDJ LE is included.
If you purchase a controller that does not include VirtualDJ LE then you will need to purchase the full VirtualDJ Professional at full price to be able to use it with VirtualDJ: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html
