I have a Gemini cdmp-7000 controller and having problems getting the software

You have to download the TSI files for the CDMP 7000 and then install them in their right folders, once you do those two steps, it should work flawlessly.

Well TSI files are for Traktor, as for VDJ the controller is natively supported so it should only be a matter of downloading the proper drivers.......

You still need the Mapping files (Sorry not TSI files, those are for the CDJ700's) for the Gemini Units. http://geminisound.com/product/cdmp-7000
Download the Virtual DJ files for both HID and MIDI or just MIDI if your prefer.

I did all that an nothing tried un installing and then reinstalling the drivers, asio drivers and still nothing

How is the device detected in CONFIG-->Mappers tab ? With its name, Simple Midi or nothing there at all ?
