Topic: Keep place withing folders

Something that has bugged me about VDJ since I started using it is when I am working in a playlist or folder say sort by BPM and I am mixing going down all good. Then someone requests a song Great! no problem! let me find that for you. I search , find the song, load it, play it, customer happy, move on. Now I go back to mixing and now the problem!! I have to sort and scroll to find where i was before the request. Drives me nuts! Is there something i'm doing wrong or is it just me?

So I guess what you are saying is that you want VDJ to save your sort order and position in that list and then restore it once you clear your search?

Would be handy and save some time. I am going to be pissed if I can't stand this happening after participating in this thread! Lol
 
I don't know what would make that happen but the software that I used before did it. I by far prefer VDJ and like I said it is a pet peeve and if this code or whatever it take would be awesome for me. If other feel the same way ,maybe the programmers will listen.
 
Yes indeed VirtualDJ behaves like that, and and its annoying for sure. I could point you to our Wishes Forum, but since its been asked several times in the past already, i will not. Most likely this will be fixed in next release.

Well thanks for the replies guys ! I thought I would mention it just to see if I has missed something or did not know about a feature that was somewhere in the software. I love VDJ and would not change just hoping.
