Topic: vdj freezes when loading track

Hi

My problem is that when i load a song into a deck, vdj freezes like for a second, the music DOESN'T stop, but it's like strange. The wave form freezes and then continues working. Is this normal? Does this happen to you or not?
Please help.

This is normal and nothing to worry about providing that sound/video output is not affected.

The skin will momentarily stop updating while the software is busy accessing the drive to load the song.

Priority is always given to keeping the music playing and video output going (If you are using video.)

NOTE: External drives that have gone to sleep can cause longer delays while the software waits for the drive to spin back up. Please see our FAQ pages:

This happens to me as well and I don't use an external drive. I don't ever think it was this noticeable on the PC side......

I hope this gets addressed in v8 as it kinda takes the "instant" outta "instant doubles".
