If you are familiar with this song, how do you blend this song in? I used it over a instrumental and it worked, but nothing astonishing. How do you go about mixing this one in?

OK I've just had a listen and it starts acapella, so if you have a previous track that ends in just a plain beat, you could mix the acapella part over that (won't matter about key) for circa 34s until the Macklemore beat kicks in.
If your previous track has a musical element (and no vocals) for at least 34s at the end, then you'd have to ensure that it's in a compatible key, so the Macklemore vocals sound correct.
You could slam it straight in on the chorus. You could re-edit the track so it starts at a different point. You could add drum beats to the intro.
You could even make use of a karaoke/instrumental version to add a beat to the start, under the vocals.
