Is anyone running lumidesk on the same computer as vdj during gigs?
Is it running smoothly?

I recently have gotten Lumidesk and have been using it with VDJ and Lumidesk running at the same time on my laptop with no issues. I have also used the midi map feature where it reads the BPM from what is playing from VDJ instead of using sound active and it has been working great! I do not see any problems with CPU usage at all, I have even gone to the point to be using the remote for the Lumidesk on an android tablet to control the software and still no problems... I am running Windows 7 machine with an iCore 5 and 8 gigs of ram for reference...

it is pretty much the same software and usb dongle as the china dmx verisons, adj verison, elation etc.
i have never had any problems running any of these with vdj on the same computer at the same time.
my opinion these dongles are much better than running a dmx controller box.
touch screen is a must
