Hi Folks
I get most of my tunes through ERG music store and I have noticed that the BPM's are rarely accurate. I can have a slow country song loaded but it will say it is 140 bpm ?? I re-analize and it comes up the same. Is there something I need to be doing to get the correct bpm per song??
Thanks

All you can do is manually halve the BPM.
There's not much you can do about 70 BPM tracks being detected as 140 BPM, or similar doubling/halving. It's a flaw with all computerised detection.
Some s/w does allow you to set a range of BPM to detect, so you could set a narrow range to prevent the above, but VDJ only permits allowance of BPM under 80 (disabled or smart). As you discovered, smart is not so smart!
It would be nice if one day it was possible to "teach" the detection algorithm the difference by playing it certain files, but that day has yet to come.
