Hey guys,
In the last 2 weeks, I've been having trouble using VDJ for extended periods of time. After about 4-5 hours of use, I start getting momentary freezes in audio. Every 10 minutes or so the sound just cuts off for about a second. This has never been an issue before so I suspect it might be that my laptop is just getting old. I'm using a macbook pro 2010 model, running on OSX 10.9. Its built with 4gb ram, and 2.4Ghz i5 processor.
I'm using the denon MC6000 controller, and I initially thought perhaps it was the USB cable, so I replaced it but I'm still experiencing the same problem. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I've included a screenshot of my performance settings below. Thanks guys.

Try Fast Stretching in Master Tempo
Fast Skin resizing and Fast resampling at 48kHz conversion

latency 2ms is definitively going to cause issues..
Latency is the buffer you give your soundcard.. . and when it doesnt have enough data in the buffer, audio drops out and can cause freezes.
Set the latency/buffer to at least 11ms ...

Wait a minute. You have been using these same settings all along, but have only started to have these issues? You have been using these settings how long? What, the software said, "you know, I used to like these settings, but now I don't, so I'm going to act up, not right away, but after 4 or 5 hours"? Latency issues take this long to materialize? Is it possible your laptop is getting too hot? Have you changed anything in the last two weeks?
