Just like Pacman, the huge inMusic (Numark, Akai, Alesis, Alto, ION, M-Audio etc.) have now also gobbled up Denon.

Will this mean some new innovative combi DenoNumAkailesis products?
An MC-7000 with Akai drum pads, Denon motorized platters and Alesis effects? An NS8 with two SC3900 sized platters?

Well whatever happens it needs to be better. Since the MC6000 mk1 it's all been pretty crap.
As much as I'm not a fan of Pioneer one can't deny they are miles ahead of Denon on the DJ front at the moment.

I really doubt we'll see anything to compete with Pioneer. For some reason none of these company's will even take a stab at creating anything close or better. I mean the NS72 is the only controller in my opinion that comes close but even still that's one lonely controller out of many out here.
I say screw the software and go with stand a lone units. Rebuild the 5500's already!! Lmao!!

I wonder what this means?
We are pleased to have reached an agreement with inMusic to license the rights to the D&M Pro brands.

Totally agree with the above.
As much as I'm not a fan of Pioneer
I wasn't either as they were really behind the times but the last couple of years have been great with them making fun exciting pro gear, whats not to like? I know they haven't done a 19" but hopefully they will and without silly big joggs!
Totally agree with the above.

We can get in touch with inmusic to submit our feedback, I wonder if they will have a rep on here? http://www.inmusicbrands.com/contact

This has been in the works for awhile, but I was not at liberty to say anything, and I was not the only one here that knew. This is why I caution against making statements, that have no basis in fact. The truth of the matter is, we are all in the dark, and do not know what is going on, behind closed doors. Denon as been in this business, for a long time, and I expect they will be around for awhile. However, I am not in the board room, and don't have a clue what was behind this move. It also, will not affect me one way or the other. There was a time, when Numark was a joke, and I would not be caught dead with any of their products. Look at them now.

Simply put this is fantastic news for all, the combined resources and great technology should help revolutionize DJ'ing. We are keeping the brands very separate but all benefits will be used. Il be here lurking if any one needs any help and read everyone's comments. (Not in a creepy way honest, just good to get feedback)
