Last weekend i showed up to my uncle's wedding with my laptop, i had just put the money down for the grooveshark membership and figured out how to use that with 2 cdj 2000's and a mixer.
I was very suprised to learn that you only get 10 minutes for free with the cdj's attached, after that the music stops and i'm forced to put down 100 euro's just to keep it going. Luckily i brought my cd's, otherwise i would have been royally (something starting on "f" - moderated).. Let me just advise you all to stay as far away as possible from these money grabbing ... (something starting on "a" - moderated).

VirtualDJ PRO is not a free software, just as most all other programs on the planet are not.
Shouldnt be surprising, as well as the free home version clearly indicates that you can try pro features for 10 minutes as a trial

You just made yourself look bad... That's your OWN fault for not reading up on the limitations of the version you were using!

Your uncle should've hired a professional, just saying.

You only tested a new setup for less than 10 minutes before taking out to a gig?
That's madness.
That's madness.

LOL.

And this is the exact reason the dj software industry gets a bad name. I won't take a system out in the road until at least a weeks worth of playing, setting up etc. your uncle should have booked a professional.

I guess it's back to Winamp for you. I wonder how you will connect winamp to your CDJ2000's.

I bet your are posting on the pioneer site too... about those money grabbing a*** that expect to get paid for products they make, instead of just giving you CDJ's for free.

The unpleasant surprise here is that you were hired at all. Any pro DJ knows not to gig with an untested rig. EVEN AT HIS UNCLE'S Wedding! Seriously??? Chalk it up to growing pains, hopefully you'll figure it out!

It's also kind of odd that he would post his "warning" in here... a forum full of license owners....uhhhh...
