We thank you for releasing a newer version of virtual dj.
However, mac users we are still of the notion that we are being neglected in terms of video mixing. I have been constantly asking questions as to when we will be receiving newer video transitions as windows seems to have a lot. It's sad to see that virtual dj has preference of windows over mac. This issue has been going on for far too long.

Unfortunately user-made plugins will only be available for Mac if their author owns a Mac and wishes to make a Mac version. This has and will always be the case due to the fact that many plugin authors do not own a Mac so cannot make a Mac version.
PC plugins will not work on a Mac and vice-versa and even with access to the original source code, conversion is not a simple process for video plugins due to the different technology used (DirectX on PC vs OpenGL on Mac.)
Most official v8 plugins included with the software should be available on both PC and Mac though.
