Topic: Using Virtual dj with Denon sc 3900

I have been waiting for a dj controller that will be exactly like using a turntable with the platter turning as it plays music. I would guess that the denons are the only machines that do this?
So my question is. Can you link Virtual dj to 2 of these denons and as the the wheels turn on screen they also do it on the denons and if you run your finger on the platter to slow the denon slightly as you do when performing a mix it will do it on virtual dj in real time. Many thanks

I use 2 3700s, which is the model before the 3900s. Seeing as how the platter moves relatively separate from the vinyl disc, which is connected to the encoder which reads movement like a direct drive turntable, yes.

So yes. I do that with my 37s and when I move to the 39s it'll be a great day...

Side note, the numark v7 controller and their 2 deck flagship ns7 mark 1 and 2 have moving platters as well. They work in a similar fashion but the vinyl footprint and platter is smaller. And I have sandwich smasher hands so...

my dj set up iz two denons SC3900's, American Audio 14MXR, VDJ Pro 7 every thing works just fine. i (had) the Numark NS7 loved it but wanted an more traditional mixer in the middle & cd/media players on each side

So if I was to buy a Numark NS7 mk 1 controller which is much more affordable. Will it work well with Virtual Dj?

you lost me ? whats your question ? (Will it work well with Virtual Dj) which one are you asking about

are you asking which one between the ns7 & mk 1 controller is more affordable ?

Yes my up dated question was will virtual dj 7 home work well with a Numark NS7 usb controller?

It will only function for 10 minutes; for longer use you will need a controller or Pro version of Virtual DJ.
