Greetings all,
I'm trying to successfully get VDJ 8 on either the MAC (OS-X Mavericks) or PC (W7) to successfully work with a video in device so I can import an external video source.
My device: SMI Grabber Dev (EasyCap). Yes it works with the Mac EasyCapViewer Program and the PC ULead programs.
On Windows I've tried every video grabber with poor results.
The built in "Camera" gives the error on the screen "Unable to read sample (e:-1072875772 w:720 h:576 s:2880 fmt:00000016-0000-0010-800000AA00389B71)
The ESSENTIAL MEDIA plugin sees the camera yet when you engage the plug in, the "Start" button in the plug in on the "Camera" tab doesn't work.
Old plug-ins dont work.
The MAC Camera and Camera8 plug in only see the Facetime built in camera and not the EasyCap USB stick which can be seen by the EasyCapViewer program.
Any hints/directions on how to get this working greatly appreciated!
