Hi,
I've got virtual dj 8 and when I downloading a video (MP4) on a deck, the song plays but I can't see the video playing. There is nothing on the master output video screen and the same for sources A and B. There' s not pop up of the video screen also. It's the first time it happens.

snap exactly the same happened to me 2 days ago at a gig !! not impressed now back home i still cant get the video output to play, maybe a recent update is screwed ??

For all the rest I don't think you need (video transition etc...)

I just upgraded my videocard and it still the same. I just want to let you know that I have also virtual dj 7 on my computer and the video output works great!

so please check if you set V8.exe in the nvidia control center to use the nvidia
 
Are you getting the video in the preview deck windows?

Is this happening with all your mp4 or just a few particular ?
Can you try to analyze (rightclick action) the MP4s prior loading to the deck ?

The Master Video Preview window on the VIDEO center panel is pure black or you get the "off" graphics ?
 
Please have a look at the 3d settings and choose vdj exe to be used with the nvidia as you see at the screenshot
 
OK, I just add in the program settings ''virtualdj8.exe'', but it still the same, no videos.

Hi,
All mp4 dont' work (videos), only the sound. I did the rightclick action for loading on a deck, still no video. I have a ''off'' graphics on The Master Video Preview window on the VIDEO center panel.

Have you tried to delete the settings.xml from MyDocuments/VirtualDJ and re-launch ?

If you use the default skin then clicking on the Master Video Preview window at the VIDEO center panel, you should be able to turn on/off video. Does this work for you ?
