Hi just wondered if any one could help,i have the hercules mk 4 dj console but am starting to get to the point of no gain control knobs,any advice guys???...while i am here i also seem to have an issue since upgrading from vdj7 to 8 and thats the fact that my bass,mid and treble buttons no longer do anything even if i move them on the software??

For the gain control..
I see 2 possible cases here..
1. Yuo are trying to increase the Gain beyond 50%, so the Limiter engages and you get nothing more than the value the Limiter allows.
2. The Gain knob will start moving/altering the Gain value if the Hardware position meets the software one (soft-takeover)
For the EQ knobs, apparently you are are used to the Kill Mode (setting in the Options)
or you cant hear the EQ in Headphones which means you need to set the EqInHeadphones setting to Yes (from Options)

try the pitch knob with the shift key (with a variable, I.E toggle var "$shift")
