Hi all Dj's. Was out gigging last week, still happy with 7.4, thou tempted soon to upgrade to V8 when noticed one of my speakers -12' passive Wharefedale Titan sound was cutting out. Got home and tested and found the large speaker cone not working. Took off grill and slightly pushed down on cone and sound comes on nice and strong but stops once i let go.
Not sure what this could be and was hoping someone out their in Dj land might have a heads up before i trudge off for repairs.

A Man and His Music
The speaker is blown. The lead to the driver is making contact when you push on it. You can look at it, and see if it is at the terminal, but most likely it has left the building with Elvis. A recone is an option.

Best to check with Wharfedale to see how much a replacement woofer would be. With the labour involved, a recone may well cost more.
