have an older client that uses VD7 and does not want to use 8, is it possible to use the ddj-sx2 or the DDJ-sz with VDJ7. Trust me, he a fabulous dj but is older (54) and does not want to use 8.

The SX2 is only mapped for 8 at present. When I asked previously I was told it would be up to the community to provide a mapper for 7, so Atomix aren't going to provide one.

You would have to write a definition file first.

DDJ-SZ has a mapper available for version 7.
However not all bells and whistles of the controller are available at VDJ7 because of some of its limitations
