The mapper for the DDJ SX2 is almost finished. Currently it works very well (accoding to uses that own a SX2).
The mapper might change a little bit once the VDJ Team got a device.
But yes, it works!
NOTE: There is no mapper for Version 7!
If you ever want to use the SX 2 with v7 that won't work!

I have an SX2 as well and can confirm that it does indeed work. (I've used it a dozen or so times so far without issue.)

I also have the SX2. On issue I noticed is that the pitch nudge on the outside of the jogwheel seems to be too drastic. Is there a way to "mellow" it out so it is not such a drastic change in speed when I spin the outside of the jogwheel?

JogSensitivityBend. I have my SX2 set at 0.030000

Kindly, how do you enable pitch-bend on the SX2? Even if I swtich off 'vinyl' mode [SHIFT+VINYL], it still doesn't do it. Thanks for help.

im thinking of buying SX2, but I want to know some things first.
How good it is for playing videos ?
And if it is possible to use the Xfader just for Videos (prelisten?), and use the sampler output on for ex. channel 3 or 4 ?
I want to know because now i use my Djm 2000 Mixer and have separated the video on my Xfader and can prelisten on the channels however I want, and have the Sampler on my 4th channel working perfect !
But the case is too heavy to caring around anymore :-(

I only have the SX but what you want to do is possible.
It's possible to output the sampler on what ever deck/ chanel you like.
See, on page 41: http://www.virtualdj.com/images/pdf/VirtualDJ8_User_Guide.pdf
For the XFader sure it is possible to only use it as video XF. That's how I use mine.
But you might need to change the "videoVolumeLink" setting, otherwise you won't see your preview video if the chanel's volume fader is down.

Okey thanks, how do I set the "VideoVolumeLink" any tips and tricks on it ?

Please have a look in Settings/ (advanced) options/ Video

If VideoVolumeLink is set to "yes" your Video Brightness is assinged to the volumefaders.
