I'm not sure that I'm in the right place to ask this question, but I think my question is skin-related.
I use the 4-deck skin (the one that comes standard with VDJ 8) and everytime I start VDJ I always have to change from 1 FX slot to 3 FX slots
Is there a way to change that VDJ always opens with the 3 FX slots available?
I couldn't find anything in settings, also couldn't find anything on the world wide web (including this forum)?

The solution in this case is to add a @ to the start of the skin variables so that they are stored in settings.xml and remembered.
So $fx1multi and $ fx2multi become @$fx1multi and @$fx2multi.
The only potential flaw is the bug which erases these settings when VDJ auto updates. :-(
