Hey peeps.. Question, I just got a new gig doing the MCing for a Semi Pro indoor team. I'm putting together my samples and playlist. My question is : I'm not sure how long to play each song for the crowd. Mainly during game play as aposed to time outs and such. Should I play just the hook or about 30 seconds of a given song..

I'd suggest asking them what their requirements are.

Semi-pro indoor what? What sport? What country? That makes a difference. USA baseball minor leagues for instance will often do their music beds between inning (not during play). Seventh-inning stretch and that sort. Whatever sport it is, I'd take my guidance by observing the patterns used by the major (national) teams.

The GM finally got around to answering many questions. So looks like standard Stadium beds. Its been a while since iv'e been to a stadium game and my research is not coming up with anything. So any info that you can offer is greatly appreciated.
Built my sets for intros, warm up, crowd walk-in, and half time entertainment. Now actual game time play of how long for each bit. I did seek this gig out it just fell into my lap as I was talking to marketing director - Bam - there it was. As we talked I know I can use this for future gigs and promotions.
USA - indoor soccer (football), about 1h 30m game time
