The transition in the settings.xml you sent is "jaggeddropfade", which is not a native transition. If the problem occurs with the first video you load, it's possible that it's this transition that causes the problem.
Random transitions is also enabled, so that could also explain why the problem simply started at one point during your set.
I would recommend to manually try every transition in the list to check which one causes this problem.
Edit: audioOnlyVisualisation was set to Slideshow in the settings.xml you sent, so it does not seem to be milkdrop in this case.

Agree with Gwen, and if it's one of mine I'll investigate what is going on with your system :)

OK, check this out. I did a full transition check, with no problems. It was set to random, but I manually checked each one. Some were checked more than once, including the one you mentioned. Besides, I have been using the same transitions for over a month with this machine, and again for 14 hours, after the initial problem, and everything was OK. So, I have been having issues with milk drop. After the transition test, I went to config, video option, and changed audioonly to milk drop, and bam, Elvis is back in the building. Just making that change, does it. I can't get milk drop to work at all. So I will try the DX updates and see if that helps. Now that I think about it, that may have had something to do with the first failure. I work in a gentlemen's club, and the slideshows that I use are, let's just say provocative. So, at some time during the gig at the store, I had to change to milk drop, for audioonly, or I activated it.

Pow, one problem solved. Milk drop now works, thanks to the DX9 download. Thanks RobRoy for the assist. Hopefully, this was the cause of all of my issues. I will be testing into the wee hours, because I have a mobile gig today. I will keep you guys informed of my progress. Thanks to all of you guys for your help. Oh I almost forgot, tell those guys in the German forum, to stop speaking German all the time. I can't understand a word they are saying.
