Topic: App cannot run

Received message of new build [2191]. Clicked yes to update.
When I tried to open VDJ8, I got this message;
"App cannot run on your pc"
Tried to uninstall and re install, still getting this message.
Any ideas?

First try an older version, also see if VDJ 7 runs.
If none run your windows system has been damaged, possibly by a virus, or another program.

What are the spec's of your computer?
 
Version 7 works. No viruses.. this is a desktop with windows 8.1
intel 3.00 ghz.
I tried to uninstall VDJ8 and re install.
Still no good
 
Interesting.
I would get all the windows updates including the optional ones, and then try again. Microsoft are good at screwing things up, hence the need for the updates.
Have earlier versions of VDJ 8 worked?
 
Please check if Windows uses generic drivers for your videocard.
If so, please replace them using the original drivers from the videocards manufacturer.
 
Everything is up to date. VDJ8 was working until I
tried to update the new build.
 
 
I tried installing the released version 2139 yesterday. No luck.
Just downloaded the newer released version 2191.
This one seems to be working
I don't think I will update the newer build.
