I assume the "11" is "II"
They are fine. Both the first edition and the second edition have been named some of the best intro level controllers. They also sound fine, even though some find their headphone level to be on the low side. But they are missing a few nice features like manual gain, filter and vu meter. And they are mostly plastic and have a plasticy feel to them
Here is a nice review: http://www.digitaldjtips.com/2013/01/numark-mixtrack-pro-2-review-video/
But the new version - the Mixtrack Pro III - has just started shipping in the US, so maybe you should give that a look also.

They are all natively supported in VDJ8

If you are in the market for a backup/flawless plug and play controller, I cant emphasize enough how overjoyed I am with my MIXTRACK QUAD!!!! I do a lot of live mixing for special wedding dances, and there is nothing easier than having those 4 decks in front of you and loaded ready to go for a live mix!!!
