Hey folks,
It's been a while since I've been here. I am looking to get back into using VDJ8 as I have the pro version, and I would like to utilize what I paid for. (Not sure if this is in the right place, so if it's not, Mods, please move it to the proper place. Thanks!)
As stated in the title I have the Denon SC3900 (2x) and Rane 62 setup. I have everything plugged into my MBP, and both the decks and the mixer are recognized in VDJ8. My issue is when playing, I am in Hybrid mode, so the time code signal is coming right from the decks. I don't know what the frequency should be, but I have them set to serato because that's also what I use.
When I load a track, the decks recognize it, but when I hit the PLAY button, I don't get sound, and the song in the software is not playing, but the platter spins. However, if it hold the CUE button, the music starts to play, there is sound, and the software is responding. I have checked levels, I have checked plugs. I have tried to set the decks to output 3900, and sixty-two - still not working.
I am not sure if I missed something, or if I didn't configure it properly. I setup the mixer as described in the Rane 62 PDF. I see the volume faders and cross fader move when I move the hardware faders. But I ultimately cannot get the decks to work with the mixer AND the software.
Does anyone else have a similar setup, that could help me out?
