Hi guys, I am new here and would like to know if using the free home edition of Virtual DJ, can I just add a folder of my mp3s and have it play them all without me having to drag and drop songs to each deck..if so, how...many thanks

Welcome, Yeah you want Automix to do that, it's detailed in the manual. There's also the YT channel that shows videos of these type of basics.

Usual windows select methods work for group selecting (Ctrl+A, click-shift-click, click-crtl-click)
Once you have tracks in automix list click the arrowed button.
