Hey guys, I'm currently using a Peavey USB-P interface between the laptop and the mixer. This produces better sound quality compared to straight to the mixer from the earphone jack. Peavey makes this unit specifically for this purpose and it works OK, but I feel I'm still leaving quite a bit of sound quality on the table. Searching for other AIs, all I can locate is the DI boxes made for receiving audio instead of sending it. Anyone have suggestions on other USB out AIs. I don't use a controller.

How about using a simple 2 channels USB soundcard?
I've been using the first 2 generations of the NI Audio 2. They are now up tp 3. generation.
They are cheap, sound excellent and are natively supported in VDJ
