So, I was on a gig last week and all of a sudden, I got a screen that said I had to enter my log in to unlock my controller. I have been running V8 on my machine for at least 8 months and did that initially. So, I am on this job and did not have wifi to connect to the server. It actually stopped in the middle of a performance and I could not get it back. I had a backup...sort of, but this was horrible. Why would my license info be wiped out in the first place? This CANT happen again. It's also something I don't want to have to check every time I boot up. I have an unlimited license by the way. Please advise on how to avoid this. Thanks.

Do you use VDJ 8 on other pc's as well?
The only time you would see this while not connected to the internet is if you used the 'Log Out' button on the license page of options, or if you deleted your Documents\VirtualDJ folder.

Hmmm....I do use it on another computer. I have never logged out. But perhaps the document file was somehow changed? Can't imagine how....I will investigate. Thanks.
