i can still hear music on V8???
i switched to V7 and vol is completely off..

whats up with that... im going to check now in settings, hope i can fix it b4 someone helps me

you can set the master volume, just search in advanced options for "master" and set the new value as desired
 
is it "metronovolume"??
 
i cant find this master vol, my options are advanced as well... grrr
 
Are you saying when you reduce a channel with the EQ it doesn't kill the audio?

If so, then you need to change the equalizerMode to full kill.

It's not clear though in your OP exactly what you mean since you mention a DJM700 which is a hardware mixer and means you don't need to use the internal EQ.
 
just a stupid question... how's volume level for your soundcard in windows? check it once you open virtualdj.
 
i know its stupid but im not getting full kill from my DJM... i went back to 7 and im getting a full kill... i know its not hardware or the program ... i cant ork out how to kill the sound from my EQ DJM

i just did a restore fac default and nothing

volume is ful on my lappy... tried, nthing happened
 
Have you mapped the DJM700 to control the internal EQs then? If so , why?!

no... i dont need to, im using my cdj400's as controllers
 
Right, so if the DJM700 is not controlling the VDJ EQs then VDJ has absolutely nothing to do with it. There is obviously something you're not telling us ;)
