I am using VDJ8 4 Deck skin. Deck #1 is set to master deck. I would like Deck #3 to be master deck. I can change it manually but I was wondering if there is a way to have Deck #3 always be the master deck by default.

you can add the action..
deck 3 masterdeck
to the ONINIT key of your keyboard (from Settings-->CONTROLLERs tab) . Every time VirtualDJ launches it will set deck 3 as Master Deck and it will change the status only if a another masterdeck action is triggered from the skin.
The action
masterdeck_auto
will revert master deck selection to automatically again, or you can simply click on the selected/on M button from the skin

Ok. I added deck 3 master deck with the oninit key added and deck 1 still is the default master deck. What did I do wrong???

So you still see the M button of Deck 1 in the 4 decks Default skin enabled ?

I got it. It was my error. I left a space between master and deck. I am sorry for bothering you with this silly mistake. I will endeavor to be more diligent in the future. Thanks for your help and patience...
