Ean Golden..
Is Spotify even legal ?
Obviously Ean has noticed there are no jog wheels on the Traktor S8 !
It seems that he is jumping ship, and has substituted Pioneer for Traktor.
The poor lad is stuck, he does not know what software to use LOL !
However he would never lower himself to use VDJ 8 which has a legal streaming subscription service.

It's also interesting that iTunes for DJ's seems to be well described by DJbeatbreaker, he just said "it sucks, carry on."

Spotify does not look like a proper topic for either a professional DJ, or Digitaldjtips.
Jealousy is a powerful emotion.
It looks like the comedians are stumbling along a high-wire without a legal safety net.
Well done Atomix, your legal, and inexpensive content unlimited subscription service is leading the way !
In particular I love the latest remixes your service supplies, often complete with preset que points !

There are none so blind as those that will not see.

Hell you can't even use the tracks or videos you get from iTunes if your getting paid.......

I doubt any of it is legal.......won't believe any of it until I see the money trail.

You should not ask about money....it's the root of all evil.
That's what my Grannie said.
It took me 50 years to realize she was right.

Wrong! It's the love of money, not the money itself.

Unless you understand fractional reserve banking, and the nature of money creation your opinions are worthless.

Where does money come from?
How can most of our money supply be just numbers on a computer?

In the UK only 3% of the money supply is cash.

Before you edited your above post, you stated that this was not the place for this discussion. I agree with you. Please get back on topic.

The funny thing in Belgium is that if you pay a dj-license they don't care your music comes from Itunes, or somewere else. I had control from Sabam, you're ok as a dj if they come to check you. I had a license and some itunes invoices. A dj license is aimed to use a copy of your music outsite your home environment. So it's ok with that license to use music downloaded for non-commercial use. So I'll sent them now a mail to ask if it's ok to use spotify if you have a dj-license.
For your information: a dj license in Belgium costs for a year as much as a vdj lifetime license.
