Hi guys,
I am finding it pretty rewarding to be able to learn how to skin. I've done very little in the past in this regard, mostly simplistic HTML web page design. So, in essence, programming the skin is completely new to me. I just wanted to point out that the most difficult part I've encountered so far is NESTING. I have a good Idea of what I want to do, but making it fit all in one action can be very challenging.
just recently, an programer taught me a super-simple trick that I'm sure will help other newbie skinners. It's called a flowchart. I have seen them before, but never used one. After a quick explanation, I was able to nest actions alot easier. You can draw it out or make one on line using your google drive account. drive.draw.io
I've done a search On VDJ.com and it doesn't seem like anyone talks about using flowcharts. Perhaps it would help others if there where examples that were stickied?
