I have my own DJ specific transitions but I cant find where to upload them in V8. Can someone help. I don't see a button or nothing to upload them like I did in V7.

no not video. it is a voiceover of my name when I drop a track specifically for me. It is called a sample. That's the menu I used in V7. the sample menu to upload them.
 
there is no sample menu in V8
 
air horn, applause, siren are the only samples we are allowed. Is there a way to upload more, like in V7. I have more I want to utilize. does V8 not allow you to upload more?
 
You can upload your Samples using the link i gave you above.
There is a "samples Pack" type to choose from a drop-down list.

We usually accept "Packs" meaning Sample Banks.
What you need do is to zip your samples along with the xml of the bank (that holds info such as color, type etc) and upload the zip file

Download an excisting Sampler pack to see how its structured
 
I think there is an issue here with what the OP calls "uploading". I think he's asking how to load samples into the VDJ sampler for playback.

KooBreez, the sampler is covered from page 39 of the VDJ 8 User Guide. Page 40 covers loading samples.
 
"uploading" "transitions" well, i have to refresh my English then :P
 
There are clues....

Why would he want to upload a custom sample of his own DJ name to this site? It's no use to anyone else.

Then he mentions the default famous samples, and says he wants to "upload" more.

In VDJ 7, each sample slot had its own load/save menu. That doesn't exist in VDJ 8. It's not very obvious how to get samples on to the pads/slots.

so they refused my samples. is there no other way to load your own samples like in V7?
 
As above, it's documented in the manual.

You can create your own banks, drag and drop samples into banks, do almost anything. The sampler is far more powerful than the v7 one.
