I plugged in a projector to my VGA out and VDJ8 won't recognize it. I shut down VDJ8 to check my resolution and tried restarting 8 and it won't com on anymore even with the projector unplugged. VDJ 7 works fine with the projector. I restarted the laptop a few time and still nothing. Any help please?

First port of call; Try the projector before vdj,
*edit*
not booting vdj, try delete settings.
I'm guessing you hot plugged the projector, this can cause major problems with HW

Where are the settings?

Please check the VirtualDJ Root Folder (usually you find the rootfolder in the documents libary)
Search for settings.xml and delete or move it to a backup folder.
Then try to launch V8 again.

Yes that worked. Do I have to reset everything up from scratch again as it looks back to original default?

Are you saying I should plug the vga in before I start the computer or before I start VDJ?

Machine, vga isn't good with regular hot swapping, there's voltages there that arc on plug in and that can fry outputs, and cause all kind of hell.

Yes. By deleting the setting.xml there will be created a new settings.xml after relauchning VirtualDJ and all settings are on default.
