Hi guys,
I've recently bought a controller (MX4) after using vinyl for years, and I'm totally lost!
I installed VDJ7LE that came with the controller, then downloaded and installed VDJ8, then bought a PRO Infinity License. All seemed OK thus far.
Now, when I try and download any effects marked with 'PRO' or 'PLUS', I am unable to click the download button. I presume I'm using the correct license, and I've paid a monthly fee for the privilege of downloading the items a normal 'free' user wouldn't be able.
Can anybody offer assistance please? I'd appreciate it greatly!

You are still showing as a LE user on this forum, hence the reason you can't download.
I take it you bought the V8 licence with the same username you are logging on with here?

No - My VDJ8 program has a different log in name. If I log out of the forum, and log in with the same details as the VDJ8 program it might work? Lemme try...

If you're paying a monthly fee then you haven't bought an Infinity license. It's a Pro Subscriber license.
Why did you buy it under a different name? [puzzled]
Best thing to do is contact support and get them to merge the accounts.

I've played vinyl for many years, and never looked at digital mixing before.
Before choosing the software I looked at controllers. I found a Hercules MX4 with 66% discount, so I just figured it would be rude not buy it. Before it arrived I registered on this forum, before upgrading to the subscriber pack once the machine had arrived - registering that with another username. I frequently use two names online, and on this occasion I mixed them up :)
My machine has me registered as AnimeUK, and I'm happy to pay the fee. I don't see myself moving back to LE - so unless I'm missing out on something, I can live without the old username :)
