Do we have any users who have a preference, i.e., mac or windows for the
VDJ application? We have an issue because windows crashed and all
of our graphics are gone. I think I may want to transfer to a mac
book.

For VDJ, Windows is better IMO. From what I have seen with version 8 there have been more problems with the Mac version than the Windows one.
And, Mac machines are totally overpriced. Just my personal opinion of course :)

Thanks. Our windows crashed the other day at an event. we lost the graphics.
I was thinking maybe a Mac laptop would be more compatible with VDJ.

Not really. Other software is more Mac centric but I would say VDJ is definitely windows.

Gotta agree with Keith here except in my opinion I think it has more to due with fx's not being made by Atomix.
They put off most fx's on the users and then Atomix gives you the basics.
I use both but depending on what I'm doing. If I'm doing just a basic video show my Mac is fine but if I really need to shine I'll use my PC BECAUSE the fx's on the Mac side are weak!!
I'd say try both and decide what works best for you.
Now others are gonna disagree with me here but I say get the most powerful PC you can afford and if your doing video it's a must that the machine has the best graphics card you can possibly get. Again this is just my opinion but it's been a working theory of mine for a while now, lol!!
As far as manufactor I've always used ASUS. If you go with a Mac I'd find a refurbished 2012 because anything after that can't really be upgraded (talking harddrives and ram).
