I am using Denon MC4000 and finding strange that when I press the sampler with the headphone volume up the sampler plays through the speaker (normal) and headset also. With the previous controller (Mixtrack Pro) you hear sampler only out the speaker.
My settings: Auto split_headphone set to NO
Sampler: Output Deck O
Sample_Option: Audio output ...Master is checked off only.
Is there a way only to hear the sampler sound only through the speaker? What other setting I may be missing?
NB: If the headset volume knob is off sure nothing plays through.

IF you dont want the Sampler to go through your Headphones, your only chance is to assign Sampler to one of the 4 available decks.
So from Sampler Options-->Audio Output, choose e.g. Deck 4 and then control the Sampler Volume with Deck 4 Volume Fader, apply EQ, choose to prelisten with deck 4 PFL, etc.

But this is a 2 deck controller just like the Mixtrack pro to which I did not had this problem.

DjDad was giving you an example. Pick deck 1 or 2 for your case.
