Topic: problem with the scroll, it's too slow

the trackpad of my laptop died, I bought an external logitech usb mouse but i can't move it as fast
i change the speed of the wheel, and it works everywhere, browsing the internet or my HD, but when I browse my virtual dj playlists, it doesn't matter what settings I use, it only moves two likes at a time and then stops, can't accelerate it and keep it moving like I did with my trackpad, I wish i could move at least 6 lines at a time, to get to the last songs in my playlists takes forever.

does anyone know anything about this?


wish i could change the size of the scroll bar too.

i don't think so because i'm using the same one, but could it be modified inside the skin?
 
Most likely you will need to install the software for your mouse from logitech and tweak it's settings there. Some mice completely ignore Windows settings. I know because I have a Razor and you can't tweak anything without installing it's own drivers/software.
So please visit Logitech website and check if there's any software for your mouse (Usually Logitech SetPoint)
 
i installed setpoint, logitech software, but it does nothing inside virtualdj, works everywhere else, weird.
 
ok, this is getting really weird.

I have a microsoft mouse, and acceleration works perfect.
bought the logitech, it doesn't work, only two lines at a time, with or without it's own software
bought a HP mouse, doesn't have software, just w10 drivers... same thing, only two lines, scrolling down a huge playlists takes forever.
when i use the trackpad in my laptop the acceleration is even faster and if I do it fast enough it keeps moving even when my fingers are no longer touching the trackpad.

any clue what's going on?
