Is it possible to get the scrolling wave display from vdj to show in the main window of a cdj 2000 nexus.
I have the small wave on the bottom of the cdj screen, but would like the large scrolling wave in the upper part of the cdj window.
Hope that makes sense.

It's not possible. It's the same for pretty much all the CDJ range.
It's a limitation of the firmware on the players themselves.

Is this still the same with the new firmware update for the cdj's firmware version 1.25

Yes. The new firmware does not update anything related to MIDI/HID communication.
